Nepal Certified Naturally Grown Seed

78 days, indeterminate — It is a wonderfully flavored, round, medium sized red tomato. A good main crop and canning tomato.

'Nepal' is a variety sent to us by author and tomato authority Craig LeHoullier who said, "It is still a favorite of mine." He purchased the seed from Johnny's Selected Seeds in 1986. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.

Delicious, but susceptible to disease.
Delicious, and a good all-purpose tomato. However, mine seemed to be especially susceptible to fusarium wilt. All three plants completely dead within 14 weeks of transplant; did get a nice early yield though considering the short duration. Adjacent varieties (Cherokee Purple, Green Giant, Eva Purple Ball) showed very minor signs of fusarium, easily controlled. Nepal just didn't stand up to it. Might be great in other areas.
