— 'Orange Tree', as its name implies, produces orange colored, medium sized, flattened-globe shaped fruit on compact plants. The leaves are not rugose as other tree-type varieties, and do oddly curl in upon themselves, nearly identically to 'Extreme Bush
This is a very interesting variety. It was originally obtained from the National Seed Lab (accession number NSL 27967) by author and tomato authority Craig LeHoullier
in 1995 and sent to us in 2003. He described it to us as, ". . . a real odd ball, very short, odd curled foliage, ping pong ball sized orange fruits, for pots
[and] for the curious
!" Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
