Red Stuffer Certified Naturally Grown Seed

90 days, indeterminate — The regular leaf plants of 'Red Stuffer' are very prolific. Its fruits are red-orange in color with three to four hollow cells. The seeds are uniquely concentrated in a center seed cluster, similar to that of a bell pepper, which is easily removed resulting in an edible container for your favorite cold or hot salad. The flavor is very mild and won't overpower what you have stuffed them with. Our favorite recipe is to simply stuff them with slaw, "Louie" or tuna salad, which can be served either baked or fresh. We obtained 'Red Stuffer' in a trade with a seed saver and have been growing it here on the farm since the late 1990s, predating the establishment of the Victory Seed Company. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.

Can be easily cleaned then stuffed with deliciousness.
The niche of this tomato is that it can be cleaned and seeded easily like a bell pepper, then stuffed with deliciousness. However, it also is an awesome tomato for another reason - and that is that it;s a perfect tomato for people such as my wife, that can't consume seeds due to Diverticulitis and/or Diverticulitis.

It very tedious to seed a sliced tomato if she wanted a BLT, but with the 'Red Stuffer' tomato, we just scoop out the seed cluster and "viola" she can enjoy a fresh homegrown tomato without the worry of consuming any seeds.

True to its name
Just enjoyed my first fruit from this plant, stuffed with tuna, for lunch. It is true to its name, a tomato that thinks it's a pepper, and easily stuffed. The fruits contained a small well contained seed ball that is easily removed, and none of the gelatinous goop of a traditional tomato. Great for stuffing in place of peppers. The fruit size was about that of a medium green pepper, about the same size as I typically get for a home grown pepper. I will be growing these again.
