Dixie Queen

90 days — The fruits are generally round but can be oblong and reach forty pounds. The flesh is pink, crisp and sweet. The skin has dark green stripes over light green rind. The rind is thin but tough.

Released by Johnson & Stokes Seed Company of Philadelphia in about 1890.  Each packet contains two grams, which is about 20 seeds.

Will definitely buy more this gardening season!
I bought these seeds last spring and grew three nice sized melons. They were around 15-20 pounds, and very crisp and sweet. Will definitely buy more this gardening season!
