This copyright statement is strongly worded but necessary in this day and age to protect our organization's name, reputation, hard work and assets.  Although it is restrictive and all encompassing, we do consider requests for using our work.  If you are interested in using one of our images or other content from our Web site or printed materials, please contact us for proper use information and licensing terms.

Trademarks

Victory Seeds™, the victoryseeds.com registered domain name, and the logo, the logo, and the slogan "Preserving the future, one seed at a time"™, are the property of the Victory Seed Company. All other trademarks, product names and company names or logos cited herein are the property of their respective owners.

In order to maintain the high quality of our seed, we only sell direct to customers.  We do not sell through any other outlet or agent - resale of our seeds is not authorized and constitutes trademark infringement through implication of endorsement.  If you have purchased seed packets bearing our name and they were not obtained directly from us, no warranty is extended and we would suggest that you return the product to the vendor for a refund.

Security

We take security seriously.  The order processing portion of our site is secured using a Thawte Digital Certificate and SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology that encrypts (garbles) information as is passes from your computer to our server.

Additionally, credit card information is encrypted and manually decoded by us at the time of order processing.  It is stored on computers in this encrypted format.  Only authorized employees are permitted to access customer information. Authorized employees have been trained on how to handle information properly and are subject to strict limitations and guidelines in the handling of that information.

Privacy Statement

The Victory Seed Company has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting your personal privacy.   We believe that privacy is the foundation on which all other personal freedoms are built.  We take this seriously!

We will not sell, or otherwise distribute, our customer mailing list.  Our mailing list is used solely for the purpose of maintaining a relationship with our gardening friends (customers).  We do not currently capture your email address nor do we ever send unsolicited email (Spam).  We use a service provided by Topica which allows you to opt-in or opt-out of our electronic mailings.  Click here for more information.  Note: Children 13 years of age or younger must have their parents subscribe for them.

We do not divulge personal information except as follows:

• Banks, card authorization and fraud screening services.  If you use a credit card for your purchase, we use these services to process the transaction and to verify that your card information and address matches the information that you supplied to us, and that the card has not been reported lost or stolen.

• Agencies or authorities with whom we are legally required to cooperate. We may disclose information during the investigation of fraud or illegal activity. For example, we may disclose information in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, or comparable legal process.

Use of Cookies

We use use cookies to make your visit to the site easier.  No information is collected and maintained by us using these cookies.  They are used firstly, by our online ordering center which collects your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site.  It also places a temporary cookies which is necessary to the operation of our shopping cart system to keep track of what you are ordering.  This cookie is erased as soon as you complete the order process or after 12 hours.  Additionally, a temporary cookie is set to segregate you from being a new visitor.  This is used to make sure that you are not delivered the "welcome pop-up message" every time you revisit our site.  We feel that this is annoying.
