Blue Flax
Linum perenne lewisii

A North American native, it was "discovered" along the Missouri River in 1806 by the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the Corps of Discovery.

By 1815 it was available for sale in Bernard McMahon's seed catalog and widely cultivated.

Sow in May through July for small sky-blue flowers the following spring. It grows from twelve to thirty six inches in height. Perennial. USDA zones 5-8.

Each packet contains 0.25 gram, which is approximately 160 seeds.
