Description
Loxton Lass Certified Naturally Grown Seed Certified Naturally Grown Seed

70 days, tree-type — The vigorous, productive, rugose, regular leaf dwarf plants produce delicious, orange, smooth, oblate-shaped fruit that range between six to twelve ounces in weight. They have a well-balanced, delicious flavor.

This "Dwarf Tomato Project" variety originated with a cross between 'Rosella Purple' and 'Orange Heirloom' made by Patrina Nuske Small in 2009 and named "Rosy." 'Loxton Lass' was selected and named by Patrina after an a country town in a citrus growing river land region in South Australia. Others involved in the stabilization process were Willa Osis, Doug Frank, Sue Bailey, Nancy Ruhl, Shawn Conant, Craig LeHoullier and Bill Minkey. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.

In an effort to keep this variety available to home gardeners, 'Loxton Lass' has been released by "The Dwarf Tomato Project" (the breeder) to the public under the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). You have the freedom to use these OSSI-Pledged seeds in any way you choose. In return, if you save seeds or use 'Loxton Lass' to breed a new variety, you pledge not to restrict others' use of these seeds or their derivatives by patents or other means, and to include this pledge with any transfer of these seeds or their derivatives.
