If you have areas of your property that tend to remain damp or are otherwise poorly drained, or if you live in a location with a moist climate receiving more than thirty inches of water annually, our Moist Area Wildflower mix is for you. It contains annual flower species to deliver color the first year, as well as perennial flower varieties that will continue to provide blooms for years to come. It is also well-suited to areas that are regularly irrigated.

Each packet contains one (1) ounce which will cover approximately 375 square feet.

The mix includes the following sixteen annual and perennial varieties: Dwarf European Columbine (Aquilegia vulgaris), Bachelor's Button (Centaurea cyanus), Siberian Wallflower (Cheiranthus allionii), Daisy Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum maximum), Clarkia Mix (Clarkia elegans), Lance Leaf Coreopsis (Coreopsis lanceolata), Plains Coreopsis (Coreopsis tinctoria), Chinese Houses (Collinsia heterophylla), Rocket Larkspur (Delphinium consolida), Sweet William (Dianthus barbatus), Common Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea), Annual Baby's Breath (Gypsophila elegans), Rose Mallow (Lavatera trimestris), Baby Blue-Eyes (Nemophila menziesii), Shirley Poppy (Papaver rhoeas), Helen Mount (Viola cornuta).

Planting Instructions: As early in the spring as possible, prepare your flower bed site by removing weeds and loosening the soil. You can sow the seeds by broadcasting and then raking them into the soil. The goal is for the seeds to make good soil contact and to be covered with light soil no more than two-and-a-half times their thickness. Germination will start occurring when the soil reaches about 55ºF. The area will need to be kept moist until germination occurs.
